چکیده:

Creep feed grinding is a high efficient grinding methods that can be used for the largescale material removal of nickel-based supperalloy materials. These materials are usually used in aircrafts, gas turbines, rocket engines, petrochemical equipments and other high temperature applications. The most important parameters in creep feed grinding are the surface quality and the prevention of the surface burning. The surface burning can be avoided by the proper selection of working conditions. To study the effects of working conditions (such as depth of cut, the wheel and workpiece speeds) for these materials, a series of experimental tests were performed. The experimental data are also compared with the adaptive thermal model.
