چکیده:

The three phase double-cage motors have a significant role in dynamic and transient behavior of power system The simulation and system study will bee very time consuming when there are many induction motors in power system and full order non-linear modele of machine. In this paper two approaches is presented using linear techniques for determining machine transient response.
during descrete time intervals the rotor speed is assumed to be constant, thus, in the first method the linear equations of electrical part of machine is solved simultaneously by using the approximation of transition matrix in each interval. In the second method the said linear equations are divided into three subsystems with different time constants. The solution begins from the subsystem with the lowest time constant, respectively. The CPU time required for these methods is more less than full order non-linear model, also the first method has more accurate result than the second method.
