This paper describes simulation of fusiform and saccular aneurysms in different sections ofhuman aorta artery. Using commercially available softwares it is possible to study and model the cardiovascular system and related pathologies. Geometrical data of aorta artery has been extracted from the physiological texts. Locations of hypothetical aneurysms are placed in the middle of the studied sections. The pressure drops which are caused by aneurysm are calculated using CFD method. The blood pressure is assumed to be laminar, viscous and incompressible. The applied inlet velocity profile is pulsatile according to wormsley equations. Furthermore, the compliance variations which caused by aneurysm are determined using approved formulas. The obtained pressure drops and calculated compliances are studied using an equivalent electronic circuit representing cardiovascular system. The results of the simulation including pressure graphs exhibit the effects of the aorta aneurysms on the cardiovascular system and they are compared with the relevant experimental observations andthe results are in good agreement with them.
