چکیده:

In this study, a simulation model is developed to analyze the operation of a manufacturing station, which consists of two production machines served by a robot. The simulation model is validated with available exact solutions for the selected cell operations. The model is then utilized to analyze the industrial cell under other operational characteristics, for which analytical solutions are not possible. In particular, the effects of robot and machining speeds on cell production rate under two different tool change policies are analyzed.
