Owing to the development of computers technology, scientific researches have been speed up and more sophisticated systems solved within the minimum time consumes. Especially, for determining the earthquake behaviors of structures, time dependent and nonlinear analyses must be done by the supreme computers. Generally masonry modeling on computers has been performed with three different main approaches via Detailed Micro Modeling, Simplified Micro Modeling and Macro Modeling. In this study, two masonry structures have been modeled with detailed micro modeling and simplified micro modeling strategies. Although modeling strategies are different, dimensions and material properties of considered buildings are similar. Different analyses cases have been performed as Static, Eigenvalue and Response Spectrum with comparatively for each model. It may be implied from the results that the simplified micro modeling strategy is suitable and less time consuming then the detailed micro modeling for the middle and large scale masonry models. Some other useful information is also given in this paper.
