This paper describes a procedure for the computation of torque and the magnetic forces exerted on the surface of a stator in view of calculating the vibrations of magnetic origin. In order to calculate the torque and the forces with the evolution of the currents and the movement of rotor, we have used a finite difference software, allowing us to take into account the motion by moving the magnetic sources. In this method which takes into account the movement, we can reduce considerably the number of calculations by using the geometric symmetries and periodicities of the structure. These different symmetries allow us to memorize all the solutions corresponding to the rotor positions over a tooth step and reconstitute by calculation the other solutions corresponding to all the rotor positions over two polar steps. The obtained results by this procedure can be used to determine the vibrations of the structure due to the magnetic forces acting on the stator teeth.
