چکیده:

The Bootstrap Variable Inductance (BVI) is a new FACTS controller which emulates positive/negative variable inductance. It controls either series or shunt parameters of transmission Lines. A new analysis method is presented to manage the P~ scheme that controls the BVI’s
switching amplifier. A MATLAB program implements the formulas and its analytical results are confirmed for an example by FFT analysis. The spectra are In good agreement. The analysis is also applicable to other PWM modulation schemes.
