چکیده:

This paper studies the stability analysis of synchronous machines and presents intelligent excitor controllers as a satisfactory tool for stabilization of these machines Two intelligent controllers have been designed: one is a fuzzy system whose inputs and outputs are fuzzy (described by linguistic variables), the second one is a neuro-controller which is a multilayerd feedforward neural net with backpropagation learning algorithm Finally, to illustrate the effectiveness of the controllers on the performance of the overall system, some digital simulations have been performed on a synchronous machine with infinite bus network and with different nominal conditions In all cases, the simulation results exhibit good performance aiice of the intelligent controllers
