چکیده:

Ground electrical resistivity is one of the most important parameters for design and performance of earth system of power plants and large electrical substations. Imprecise determination of it will result in, over estimation of needed grid or rods or weak performance of ground system in case of possible fault currents. Due to the technological and economic consequences of such situation, it is stronglyrecommended to determine as precise as Possible, the abovementioned parameter. In this paper, a new method of evaluation of geoclectrical parameters of the ground system is introduced. The method is based on stable solution of inverse problems of apparent resistivity curves. For this purpose computer models were prepared and results are tested in several substation sites.
