چکیده:

In order to discussing the positive effect of polymer materials on shear strength of reinforced clay in conduits , shear tests achieve on reinforced clay in soil mechanics laboratory. In this research study , by utilizing polymer materials (geotextiles ) in a specified clay and performing uniaxial
shear test on reinforced soil , it is distinguished , by setting geotextile sheets in alignment of 60 degrees to failure plane, the maximum increase in shear strength ( about 25 % ) may be obtained.
