چکیده:

Following the discovery of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), CNT based nanocomposites have generated a great deal of interest in research and industrial communities [1]. Primarily, three applications are discussed for multiwalled CNTs (MWNTs) polymer nanocomposites: antistatic or conductive plastics [2], reinforced materials [3], and flame retarded materials [4]. In this study, styrene acrylonitrile-grafted maleic anhydride copolymer (SANMA) and MWNTs are melt blended with polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) in order to prepare PC/ABS based nanocomposites. Morphological, electrical, dynamic mechanical and thermal properties are analyzed. Therefore the aim of this work is to provide a suitable comprehensive foundation for outlining potential directions for these futuristic novel materials
