In this paper, At first the authors Introduce the concept of six phase transmission system. Then they study about the six phase Conversion of double circuit transmission lines in comparison with uprating the level of voltage of these lines to the higher standard level and they offer the
advantages of six phase conversion method to uprating method too. Then they produce the equivalent three phase and single phase models for the six phase transmission lines. in these models, they consider the six phase / three phase converting transformers at the two ends of six phase line which are required for connection of this line to the three phase Interconnected network. Finally, they use the single phase above model and study the load flow and transient stability analysis in AzarbaiJan network. They consider two cases In their last studies which are (a) Existing double circuit lines and (b) Conversion of these lines to six phase lines and they have compared the results of these studies in above cases for voltage regulation, total transmission system loss, variation of power angle of generators of Azarbaijan network and so on. They offer
the conclusion of all studies at the end of paper.
