چکیده:

In the present work, 2-butyne diole(2BD) and sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate(SDBS) have used as brightener additive for maintaining the metal species in solution, and the effect of their use on the electrodeposition of Ni–W-B layers from electrolytes based on tartrate investigated. Optimum conditions for plating including time, current density, temperature and pH were evaluated. The corrosion behavior of Ni-W-B coating on cupper has been evaluated during exposure to 1N H2SO4 for different immersion time using Tafel Polarization and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) measurements. The corrosion resistance of Ni-W-B alloy obtained in the presences of SDBS and 2BD had higher than Ni-W-B alone.
