In order to design indirect dry cooling system and study performance of existing system, there is need for special tools. For this reason, thermohydraulic calculations relying on related theories and equations has been performed. As a result simulation software called TECH-SYS was developed. This software considering local conditions and power plant capacity performs necessary calculations and yields major characteristics of system such as required number of deltas, base diameter, outlet diameter and lower height. As well TECH-SYS is capable of handling performance analysis, local environment impact on the system and operating & investment costs both in local & foreign currency based on country’s manufacturing potential. This paper in brief offers calculation trend used in the software along with related equations as well as expected results which are in line with the available system data.
