Sodium fluoride adsorbents are one of the most important adsorbent which are used in chemical traps. These adsorbents have three forms: Powder, crushed pellets and cylindrical pellets. Shape and dimension of these pellets have significant effect on adsorbent loading. For selection of type, shape and dimension of adsorbents, the most important parameters are reaction kinetic, adsorbent pressure drop, loading and the way for regenerating. For NaF, selecting the shape and dimension needs study on effects of loading and pressure drop. It is impossible to determine these properties only by comparison of UF6 and NaF reaction kinetics. In this case ,if the dimension of adsorbents are decreased, the active surface area will be increased and as result, the final capacity of adsorption will be decreased.
