چکیده:

In this paper, the hydromechanical deep drawing (HDD) of cylindrical cups has been simulated using finite element code ABAQUS and thickness distribution of the formed cup is studied. The influence of pre-bulging deformation on wall thickness distribution has been discussed. The effects of pre-bulging height and pressure, drawing ratio and frictional condition on wall thickness variation have been investigated numerically. Results from FE simulation have been compared with experimental results.
