Green chemistry is a new area in frontier of chemistry which deals with development of environmentally benign processes and products . Supercritical hydrothermal technology is the most active field of green chemistry, by which it has become possible to find out the new routes for synthesis of the functional materials. Copper (II) oxide nanopoweder is one of the most investigated nano-materials for different applications including catalysis and nanofluids [1-2]. The material has been synthesized by numerous pathways, including supercritical hydrolysis of copper (II) solutions. In the process of production CuO nanoparticles under supercritical condition, finding optimum reaction condition is a crucial point. Therefore, in this study we will describe optimization of our reaction condition by using orthogonal Taguchi optimizion method.
