چکیده:

In this study for the first time, poly(urethane-imide)/titanium dioxide (PUI/TiO2) bionanocomposites were prepared by ultrasonic process and characterized by Fourier transform IR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV-VIS spectroscopy. The TEM and SEM results indicated that the nanoparticles were dispersed homogeneously in PUI matrix on nanoscale. DSC confirmed that the heat stability of the composite was improved. UV-VIS study showed that the
nanocomposite polymers possessed high absorbance value than pure polymer.
