چکیده:

Four new trinuclear mercury (II) complexes p-tolyl, 4-chlorophenyl, 4-fluorophenyl,4-Methoxyphenylacetate were prepared in good yield by reaction of mercury (II)acetate with p-Tolylacetic, 4-Chlorophenylacetic, 4-Fluorophenylacetic, 4- Methoxyphenylacetic acids respectively under ambient conditions. The crystalstructures of Hg3(4-F-Ph-CH2-CO2)6, 1 was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound crystallized in monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 38.397(4), b = 6.0276(7), c = 22.353(3) Å, β = ۱۱۹٫۲۶۵(۲)°, Z = 4, with 4 crystallographically independent molecules in the unit cell, each having crystallographic inversion symmetry. Intramolecular hydrogen bonds occur between O(3) and C(18) (3.45(7) Å) and between O(6) and C(18) (2.40(6) Å) and between F(2) and C(5) (3.26(2) Å).
