چکیده:

X-type zeolite was synthesized under specific hydrothermal conditions and characterized by XRD, IR,
and XRF techniques. The results showed that pure and high crystalline zeolite X with Si/Al ratio of 1 has
been synthesized. After preparation of Na form of the zeolite (NaX), Na cations were exchanged by three
alkaline earth cations. The amounts of exchanged cations per one gram of the zeolite for each cation were
determined by wet chemical method. Among the various prepared samples, those containing approximately
equal amounts of different cations were chosen and characterized by XRD, IR, and XRF techniques. TG and
DTG techniques were employed to investigate the water desorption behavior. Enthalpy change values (ΔH)
for dehydration process were obtained from DSC curves.
