چکیده:

The crystal structure of zeolite L was initially determined by Barrer and Villiger [1]. Zeolite L is a crystalline aluminosilicate featuring hexagonal symmetry [2] with two-dimensional pores of about 0.71nm aperture leading to cavities of about 0.48 × ۱٫۲۴ ×۱٫۰۷ nm and its Si/Al ratio is typically 3.0. Morphology and crystal size of zeolites have an important role for their specific use in industries [3]. Many parameters are found to be highly important in the physical appearance of the final zeolite products [4]. AFM images of mineral zeolites were published for the first time in 1996 [5-6]. In this work, nano-sized zeolite L was synthesized and its surface structure and morphology were studied using AFM and other techniques
