چکیده:

We describe herein the synthesis of metallic copper nanoparticles in the presence of poly (ethylene glycol), employed as a protecting agent, via a polyol method in ambient atmosphere. In this work we used ascorbic acid as reducer. The obtained copper particles were confirmed by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). We observed monodisperse spherical copper nanoparticles with a diameter range of 45 ± ۸ nm by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
