In this paper we report synthesis and characterization of new and modified citric acid dendrimers as biocompatible compound with-cyclodextrine ( -CD). Then obtained compounds were applied as the drug-delivery systems in utilization of suitable size molecule such as naltrexone. Common spectroscopic methods have been used for the characterization the structure of synthesized dendrimers. The controlled release of naltrexone as the guest molecule with these biodegradable dendrimers were investigated in different pH. Release and loading capacity of the abovementioned compounds were investigated using UV spectroscopy method. Diameter of nanocarriers was determined with applying dynamic light scattering (DLS) experiments, and it was found that the diameter size of the particles are between 50 and 70 nm for different nanocarrier systems having drug molecules as encapsulated in the cavity of CDs or dendrimers. The release of the guest molecules from nanocarriers was evaluated at biological pH 1, 7.4 and 10.
