چکیده:

Tungsten trioxide nanoparticles have been prepared by arc discharge method in liquid medium. Dynamic Light scattering (DLS) results indicate that at arc current of 125A, the size of particles are about 30 nm and by increasing the arc current, the particles size increases. SEM images of the samples prepared at different currents reveal that by increasing the current, the particle size increases. AFM image of the sample shows a good agreement with DLS and SEM results. XRD and XPS spectra of the samples demonstrate formation of WO3 phase and chemical state for the surface of the nanoparticles
