چکیده:

Once people believed that our origin was from God. At some point evolved man came to trust himself to be god, self-endowed with power to elicit or extinct life. Progress in biomedicine encountered that dangerous moral background . the paper attempts to discuss theeffects of materialism upon biomedicalsciences through evaluating from a scientific and moralperspective issues applicable to man inmodern gene technology. Moral evaluation was attempted mainly from on Orthodox Chirstian perspective but Islamic and Jewishperspective were also cited.
