چکیده:

The nanocomposite concept appeared in last decades [1] and the sol-gel method has become a primary technique for their synthesis. Carbon multi-walled nanotubes (MWCNTs), due to their unique electronical and mechanical properties related to their nanometric size, could be used with success as support for thin layer deposition and also for reinforcement of nanocomposite materials. The combination of CNTs with other nanocrystals is expected to be useful for applications in catalysts, sensors, nanoelectronics and data storage/processing devices, field emission displays, and polymer or ceramic reinforcement [2]. Several other metal oxide nanoparticles, such as Al2O3, TiO2, etc, have been reported to bind on the surfaces of CNTs [3].In this research the microstructure of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT)-TiO2 nanocomposites which are synthesized by the sol-gel method have been investigated and the different specimens were compared to each other. In order to to investigate the characterizations of the synthesized specimen, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), have been used
