Original constructions of three-phase controlled reactors, controlled matched reactor-transformers, reactor-autotransformers arid saturable transformers worked out by the authors are examined. The devices are destined for use in distribution networks, power supply systems for industrial enterprises and high-voltage power transmission lines in order to improve quality and save electric power. There are given the results of
computer calculated magnetic field in the mentioned devices. The calculations are executed by the finite-element method taking into account saturation of magnetic wire steel and real geometry of the devices. Besides, there are given methodics and results of calculations of electromagnetic modes (transitive, stated, symmetrical, non-symmetrical) of devices taking into account circuit of coils connection in winding phases, their location on magnetic cors, construction of a magnetoconductor, nonlinearity of magnetization curve, losses in steel and others. Programs of computer calculation of alternating magnetic field of the devices and their electromagnetic modes are elaborated. Computer colour slide-film in which results of magnetic field calculation are interpreted geometrically is elaborated.I
