چکیده:

In this work nanocrystalline tin sulphide thin films were prepared on glass substrates by vertically setting glass slides in ammonical bath solution containing Sn 2+ ions complexed with triethanolamine and using thioacetamide as sulfur ion source at room temperature. Red brownish colored and adherent SnS films on glass sbstrate were obtained. XRD patterns of As-deposited SnS thin films showed orthorhombic structure for tin sulfide. Annealing SnS thin film in an atmospheric air in an electric furnace revealed conversion of red brown SnS to colorless transparent tin dioxe from 360°C onwards. The conversion was completed at about 500° C in 2hrs. XRD patterns of SnO2 annealed at 500°C indicated nanocrystalline cassiterite structure for it
