چکیده:

Both basic legal formsof cadaverous donation – presumed and informed consent – demonstrate the value of the right of autonomous choice. The point is to harmonize informed consent with the cardinal principlesof deontological ethics: human dignity, autonomous will and moral imperative.
Taking deontological bases into consideration, the second part of this paper shows the resent position of Christians and Muslims in Bulgaria on organ donation by means of sociological data. Thetitle issueid reflected upon through the complex system of relations. Related to bothdonor and recipient from the perspective of the Islamic dogma and tradition.
