چکیده:

Objective: Ultrasound scanning is an excellent application technique in diagnostic imaging. By two – dimensional ultrasound, the structure of eye and orbit can be studied. In this technique, cross section image of cornea, anterior chamber, lens, iris, ciliary body, vitreous chamber and lens capsules are scanned.
Method & Materials: Five Rainbow trouts (Oncorhynchus mykiss) were selected and restrained by chemical and physical methods. Pie Medical machine with 8 MHz linear transducer and sterile lubricating jelly such as coupling gel were used. A standoff pad to evaluate the some segments was used. Scans were taken in standard approach views and in anterior- posterior axis.
Results & Conclusion: In this survey, the anterior and posterior lens capsules were seemed as parallel reflection of approximately equal intensities. The normal lens scanned anechoic, that this intralenticular echoes can be considered in fish with lens diseases. Mean of lens measurement was 0.31 ± ۰٫۱ cm. Also in study vitreous chambers scanned in hypoechoic intensities and mean of vitreous chamber lengths measurement was 0.67±۰٫۲ cm.
