چکیده:

In recent years, Utilizing of Piezocone Penetration Test with pore pressure measurement (CPTu) data for geotechnical analysis and design has shown an increase. A main purpose of the CPTu is to identify soil layers boundaries and determine pile capacity from the measured values of cone resistance, sleeve friction, and pore pressure by piezocone. A computer program called “UniCone” has been developed for processing
results of CPT and CPTu, soil profiling and pile capacity analysis with different methods. Among different worked examples within “UniCone”, a few cases has been reviewed for practicing engineers, and comparison of current methods for soil profiling and pile capacity estimation.
