چکیده:

In this paper, the vibration analysis of simply supported cross-ply laminated cylindrical shells with discrete axial and circumferential stiffeners is presented. The classical shell theory based on Love-Kirchhoff hypothesis with the first order shear deformation is compared in order to have better estimating on vibrating response of laminated shells. The energy procedure is applied to obtain the dynamic characteristics ofstructures. The effects of geometry of shell, stiffeners and laminate stacking sequences on natural frequencies and vibration mode shapes are examined.
