چکیده:

The dynamic rheological properties of thermoplastic Polyurethane based on polycaprolactone diol (TPU-PCL diol) as a soft segment and poly (ε-caprolactone) (PCL) blends have been studied experimentally and theoretically. The attempts to fit the experimental data with Palierne model failed, due to excessively large difference between the complex shear modulus of the dispersed and matrix phases. According to structural similarity of matrix and dispersed phases, it is postulated that a small fraction of PCL dissolved in TPU and the rest of PCL dispersed in this new diluted matrix. By taking to account this assumption, a superior improvement in model fitting has been obtained. Furthermore, the thermal analysis of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) showed the partially miscibility of these blends and verified this postulation.
