چکیده:

Khangiran gas field is One of the most important gas fields oftheKoupeh-Daghsedimentary basin of iran and it has beenstudied geochemicaly. In this study Eighty shallowanddeepsource rock samples from different wells of kashafrod and chamanbid formations, are pyrolyzed by the Rock-Eval Instrument and studied with gas chromatograph. The investigation of the obtained data of Rock-Eval pyrolysis showed that these formations have not considerable production and are weak source rocks. According to HI vs.Tmax and S2 vs. TOC plots and the ratio of variations of the Pr/nc17 Vs. Ph/nc18, it is determined that the kashafrood formation with a type II and III Kerogen is in the dry gas production phase, and the Chamanbid formation with a type II kerogen, is in the final stage of the oil production, and beginning of the wet gas production.
