Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical precipitation. Polyaniline (PANI) grafted magnetire nanoparticles had been prepared by the in situ polymerization of aniline with ammonium peroxodisulfate (APS) from the surfaces of the aminopropyl magnetire nanoparticles successfully with a dispersion polymerization method. The chemical grafting of polyaniline was confimed using FT-IR and UV/ Vis spectroscopy. Nanopartciles characterized with FT-IR and XRD spectroscopy also the morphology of the polyaniline / Fe3O4 nanocomposite were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
