چکیده:

A series of TiO2/ZnO nanocomposites were synthesized by a sol–gel method. Thermal phase transformation studies of the as-prepared composite were carried out to 900 C. The X-ray diffraction results indicated that the as-synthesized powder has anatase TiO2 zincite ZnO, and two different Zn(OH)2 phases. Heat treatment at 220 °C transforms all of Zn(OH)2 phases into ZnO Producing of Zn2TiO4 and ZnTiO3 solid solutions takes place at calcination temperature up to 680°C. With an increase in temperature, the amount of ZnTiO3 phase decreased in a way that it totally disappeared at 900°C and transformed intoZn2 TiO4
