Equation Of States are equations that predict behavior of fluids at any pressure and temperature. Some of these equations are equations that are developed by researchers for hydrocarbon fluids, such as PR, SRK. These equations have particular form, but have some parameters that change according to different hydrocarbons. These changes could be determined with simulator software such as PVTi.Equations of state find widespread use for their ability to describe a wide variety of reservoir fluid behavior. However, this description is not usually obtained through a priori predictions. The parameters of the equation of state often need adjusting (tuning) before yielding usable reservoir predictions. During tuning, the parameters of the EOS are adjusted to make the predictions match a variety of experimental data.Purpose of this paper is tuning equation of state parameters for a gas reservoir with PVTi software.
